From Skip and Setter’s Creator: A Brief Apology
Hello, readers! Just want to apologize to you for not providing a new comic recently. Drawing is something that I’ve returned to after a long hiatus, and for some reason it’s more challenging to do for me than writing a post about the cinema. Not that I’m any good at drawing, anyway, but I do realize that my most recent strip has been up for a while. Plans are under way for more, so stay tuned. I promise I’ll have something new soon. Thanks for your patience.
They Should Hand Out Motion-Sickness Bags for This
- The biggest problem in cinema these days is the prevalence of backstory.
- It’s sometimes so pronounced that it burdens the audience.
- I mean, who wants to see how the Mad Hatter became mad?
- At this rate, I’d rather see a flick with first-person narration than one with backstory.
Well, Willya Look Who the Cat Dragged In
- Hey, who’s that guy?
- Why, it’s Mr. Pretentious Cinema Aficionado!
- What’s he up to these days?
- Oh, just showing how much he knows … or doesn’t know.

Why We Pay the Big Bucks
- Going to the movies costs a lot of money.
- Waiting on line for snacks costs a lot of … well, sanity.
- But when you’re watching the film on the edge of your seat, it’s forgotten.
- Home may be where the heart is. But the theater’s for the soul.
